As it turned out, Klemens Murańka tested positive for the coronavirus. The Pole was tested several times and the result was the same each time. This meant that he would not be able to leave Russia and return to Poland.
– I feel well, but I have no sense of smell and the fifth positive test in a row is behind me – said Murańka in an interview with sport.pl. The Polish jumper is tested daily by the Russians.
The Polish Ski Association pays for his stay in the clinic in Yekaterinburg, which costs 400 euros a day. All because the conditions in Nizhny Tagil were quite harsh. – The ceiling for him to eat falls – said Piotr Żyła in an interview with Eurosport. It was also confirmed by Murańka himself.
