– On behalf of Russia, Belarus is testing the defense capability of the Polish border – said Jakub Kumoch, the head of the presidential International Policy Bureau. He added that it was the “cheetah rule”.
“We are continuing our close cooperation with the US.” Important meeting of the prime minister
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met in Warsaw with Avril Haines, director of the US National Intelligence, said government spokesman Piotr Müller …
Kumoch in RMF FM spoke about the threat of a military attack by Russia on Ukraine and the crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. Answering the question why the hybrid attack was directed at the Polish-Belarusian border, he pointed out that it was cheetah rule – said the presidential minister.
– The cheetah attacks when it runs away; does not attack animals that are passing slowly. Belarus acted in a similar way on behalf of Russia. She tests the defensive ability of the Polish border. Lithuania has not entered this phase. The Lithuanian border is longer than the Polish one and it is guarded by much fewer guards. And let’s consider whether migrants are not crossing the Lithuanian and Latvian borders today, said Kumoch.
Kumoch also referred to last week’s visit to Poland Avril Haines, director of US National Intelligence.
– Avril Haines is here in a very serious matter. We are very grateful to the Americans for the information we receive, of course we cannot share everything, he said.
He admitted that Russia is gathering forces near the border with Ukraine.
He emphasized that since 2014 there has been a war on our eastern border, because Russian aggression against Ukraine has never really ended.
– And it is in danger of escalating. Russia is doing everything to escalate. Not only that, this is not the first time it has escalated. Russia – as someone put it nicely – creates problems in order to participate in solving them later. Of course, on his terms – added Jakub Kumoch.
