Lucy Boynton has turned red (from blonde) and is unrecognizable | Vanity Fair Italy

Thought red hair, in all its variations, was out of fashion? Never say never. Because here it comes Lucy Boyntonthe English actress who played Mary Austin, Freddie Mercury’s great love in the film Bohemian Rhapsody, which from the tested platinum look, has been spotted in a redhead version. That’s how it was.

With a white dress, her diaphanous skin, very clear, pale, her green eyes were highlighted even more. Her fiery copper hair was combined with a burgundy lipstick that gave her a very dark look. While Lucy Boynton hasn’t made the transition to black hair herself, it must be acknowledged that the combination of vampire lips, made with lipstick Rouge Dior Velvet by Dior in the shade 886 Enigmatic, brown manicure in nuance, the iconic cobweb eyelashes and the central line gave it a Wednesday Addams mood. The actress is totally different from her without her usual angelic blonde look, so much so that it’s hard to recognize her.

Lucy Boynton is the latest star to have an end-of-the-year head-turner debuting a fresh look at the premiere of her latest film, The Pale Blue Eye.

And while most flirt with Wednesday’s aesthetic—see Paris Hilton who posted snaps of black hair while vacationing at Disneyland—Lucy Boynton has latched on to the auburn hair trend that’s exploded over the past couple of years. From Kendall Jenner to Emily Ratajkowski and Gigi Hadidmany have experimented with various versions of the look and the trend has spread to hair salons around the world.
