Microsoft Teams with walkie-talkies on more devices

Microsoft continues to develop the Teams platform and announced an expansion in walkie-talkie functionality. It is not new, because earlier they could use it, among others Android phone users. Now the access is granted to the owners of other equipment.

The walkie-talkie function became available in the Microsoft Teams mobile app for iPhones and for the chosen ones Zebra brand devices. These are special mobile computers – models TC5x, TC7x, TC2x, EC30, EC50, EC55, MC3300 and MC9300. Thanks to this, it will be possible to use this type of communication also in difficult conditions.

Microsoft announced the expanded availability of Teams walkie-talkies with the release of Cloud for Retail’s general availability date, announced in 2021. This service offers industry-specific solutions that enable companies to unify all data sources. Availability is scheduled for February 1, 2022.
