Ripley’s Believe It or Not! decided to comment on the controversy involving the dress of Marilyn Monroe and Kim Kardashian. The information is from the TMZ vehicle.

In a statement released, they stated that the seam of the dress had already been worn out since 2017. Also, according to the museum, the material of the look is very delicate and the damage is not surprising.

A report written on the condition of the dress in early 2017 states that ‘several seams are pulled and frayed. This is not surprising, given the delicacy of the material. There are wrinkles on the back from the hooks,’ among other cases of damage, a museum representative said.

It is worth noting that Kim wore the beautiful dress, valued at five million dollars, at the MET Gala. According to a source close to the businesswoman, she denied the incident.

The museum’s vice president of publicity also spoke to TMZ:

The dress was in the same condition at the foot of the MET stairs, where Kim dressed, all the way to the top when she returned it, he said.
