For fans of great basketball, it is time again to circle a date in the calendar. The date is that of September 10th and the name is that of NBA 2K22, which on that day will debut on different platforms.
The new officially licensed game dedicated to great basketball, signed by 2K, to approach the release has unveiled its cover athletes with a press release, also showing us the different editions that are currently available for pre-order. On the standard edition, basketball lovers will find the champion Luka Dončić; on the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition, celebrating the NBA’s longevity, space instead for legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Durant.
Dončić obviously did not hide his enthusiasm for being chosen as the cover athlete of NBA 2K22: “it’s something very special for me,” he said. «I am proud to be able to represent my country on a cover that honors the colors of the Slovenian flag. Basketball has given me so much, I am thrilled to be able to give back something together with 2K Foundations, to help the lives of children all over the world ».
The game, promises 2K, will be the one with “the best graphics ever”, having been developed with the new generation consoles in mind, and will offer a renewed artificial intelligence, historical celebratory teams, and also new gaming experiences that will be detailed better over the next few weeks.
Both the standard version and the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition will arrive on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Nintendo Switch.
