The new animated series will return to the streaming service with the second season.
As we await the sixth season, Big Mouth has already been renewed by Netflix for a further, seventh cycle of episodes. The streaming service also announced the renewal of the recent spin-off of the acclaimed animated series for an adult audience, Human Resourceswhich will then return with a second season.
The world of Big Mouth and Human Resources
Created by Jennifer Flackett, Andrew Goldberg And Nick Kroll, Big Mouth is one of Netflix’s most successful animated series. The comedy – new episodes of which will be available later this year – follows a group of teenage friends taking on the wonders and horrors of puberty, witnessed and most often hampered by weird, vulgar and depraved monstrous creatures.
Human Resources, available since last March, has opened the curtain on the daily life of the aforementioned creatures – Monsters of Hormones, Kitty Depression, the Spirit of Shame, Lovebug, Anxiety Mosquitoes etc. – which help humans travel through the various stages of life, from puberty to parenthood to the twilight years. We discovered that, although these creatures are in fact monstrous, they also show a great human side.
