Already in February this year, we wrote that Will Smith joined the cast of the new David Leitch movie (Deadpool 2) with the title Fast & Loose. Although the project has been covered in dust over the past month, unexpectedly new news about it has hit the web.
According to the website Deadline, film distribution Fast & Loose will be handled by the Netflix platform. According to the source, the streaming giant was supposed to outperform “all potential buyers”, which could suggest that other record companies or streaming platforms were applying for the rights to this production.
Description: John Riley (Smith) is the head of a criminal organization who loses his memory one day. Over time, he manages to discover that he has led two lives so far: the first as a successful criminal surrounded by luxury and beautiful women, and the second as a CIA secret agent with a low salary, small apartment and no prospects in life. The problem is, Riley can’t remember which of these lives was the real one.
The script for the film was prepared by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber, but shooting has not yet started.
Will Smith has been one of the cornerstones of Hollywood for some time, especially in the face of the pandemic. In 2019, he starred in such productions as Aladdin and Twin. Last year we were able to see him in Bad Boys for Life, and in August 2021 it will appear on the big screen thanks to a reboot Suicide Squad. Smith has also collaborated with Netfliks in the past with the film Brightwho may get a sequel in the future.
Movie Fast & Loose does not have a release date yet.
