During last night’s Nintendo Direct, the official release date of Ni no Kuni was announced with a teaser: The Threat of the Cinerean Witch on Nintendo Switch.
Ni no Kuni: Cinerea’s Threat of Witch has an official release date on Nintendo Switch: the game will be available starting September 20, as revealed by the new teaser.
Originally published in 2013 on PlayStation 3, Ni no Kuni: The Threat of Witch Cinerea is a Japanese-style RPG developed by Level-5 in collaboration with the Ghibli animation studio.
The protagonist of the story is Oliver, a 13-year-old boy who loses his mother, from whom he had received a strange doll as a gift. This comes to life suddenly and turns out to be a truly a kind of magical being called Drippy, who guides Oliver within the bizarre world of Ni No Kuni.
In fact, Oliver finds himself crossing this strange dimension in an attempt to find his own mother, in the meantime discovering that he possesses magical powers to use to fight and make his way through the fantastic alternative world.
