Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron And Joey King are working together on the set of a new Netflix movie. The project is still untitled, but we know for sure that it will be one romantic comedy directed by Richard LaGravenesealready known for titles such as PS I Love You, The Last Five Years and Freedom Writers.
There aren’t many details yet. The three renowned actors, as Deadline recently reported, will apparently be the protagonists of the filmwhich will tell the story (not without implications comedians) between a young woman, her mother and her boss dealing with a series of complications related to theloveto the sex and to identity. There film scriptwhich was acquired by Netflix earlier this year, it’s signed by LaGravenese himself along with Carrie Solomon. Who are the main actors
Nicole KidmanOscar, Golden Globe, SAG and Emmy award-winning actress, has recently been involved in particularly intense projects from the point of view of acting: from the TV series Nine Perfect Strangers as far as Being the Ricardos, a film for which she also received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. The romantic comedy of Richard LaGravenese it will therefore be an opportunity to devote oneself with pleasure to something lighter.
Zac Efron he has recently found some success due to his starring role in the film Ted Bundy – Criminal Charm. Among his latest efforts, however, there is also The Greatest Beer Run Ever, by director Peter Farrelly, which wrapped shooting not too long ago.
Joey King22, a Golden Globe, SAG and Emmy nominee, is best known for the trilogy The Kissing Boothbut he is also famous for recent works such as Bullet Train and The Act. Furthermore, according to rumors, King will take part in a drama miniseries titled We Were The Lucky Ones: Based on the bestseller by Georgia Hunter, the plot will tell a true story that has to do with the Holocause. The eight-episode series will be produced by Hulu.
What do we know about the project
As mentioned, for the moment there is not much information disseminated on this new romantic comedy blessed by a stellar cast, so much so that not even the exact title has been announced! Surely, therefore, a lot of patience will be needed before seeing the comic love adventures of the protagonists on the small screen.
Apparently, the shooting of the film should begin at the end of summer 2022 in Atlanta. It may also be, therefore, that the film will be released on the streaming platform during 2023: who knows, maybe just on the occasion of the next Valentine’s Day!
