OFFICIAL: Łukasz Zjawiński on loan from Lechia Gdańsk

Lechia Gdańsk announced on Monday that Łukasz Zjawiński was loaned to the first league Sandecja Nowy Sącz.

On Monday, Lechia Gdańsk informed about the loan of forward Łukasz Zjawiński to the first league Sandecja Nowy Sącz. It will last until the end of the current season.

Zjawiński left Stal Mielec and moved to Lechia Gdańsk in July 2021, signing a two-year contract. The aim of the transaction was to increase competition in the youth position.

The 20-year-old was given fewer chances than initially thought. He changed his regular game in Mielec to occasional performances in Gdańsk. The young man of Legia Warszawa completed only 16 minutes in Ekstraklasa and 13 minutes in the Polish Cup.

The Lechia authorities decided that the best solution would be to loan the striker to the club, where he could gain the match rhythm and the necessary experience. Until the end of this season, he will move to the first-league Sandecja Nowy Sącz.

In Nowy Sącz, they hope that Zjawiński will prove to be an effective reinforcement of the offensive.

At the halfway point of the tournament, the club is fifth in the league table and believes that it will be able to fight for promotion to the Ekstraklasa until the very end.
