There are only a few days left until the presentation of the new Pixels, Google will hold an event on 6 October (next Thursday) during which the seventh generation of smartphones (7 and 7 Pro) and the unpublished Watch, the first real one smartwatch of the brand after months (if not years) of rumors and indiscretions.
We now know almost everything about the Pixels, the Mountain View company has also published two videos – one dedicated to the 7, the other to the Pro – in which you have the opportunity to appreciate the devices from different angles. Amazon has even anticipated the price of the base model: in short, we are now there and the picture seems to be almost completely complete. In these last hours however, some information emerged that concern both smartwatches and wearable.
A SPECIAL GIFT?
The first information, if confirmed, would be truly sensational. Roland Quandt – pretty reliable source – shared a tweet in which he states that in some countries you will receive freebies with the pre-order of a Pixel 7 important. In particular:
In this case we are talking about the British market, but it is by no means excluded that Google has not decided to focus strongly on a very aggressive offer in several countries (Italy?) To immediately conquer the attention of users and, consequently, crucial market shares. If that’s the case, pre-ordering would be very tempting.
It is understood that between Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch there is an understanding, and it is understood even more by the latest video published by Google on YouTube which shows a fully integrated ecosystem, from monitoring physical activity to the possibility of making payments via the watch. Nothing new and all predictable, of course, but it is also true that never before has the Californian company focused on the synergy between the two products to get the best out of each of these. Here is the video:
Another well-informed leaker on the Google world is Mishaal Rahman, who shared – also on Twitter – a series of official screenshots of the Google Photos, Google Home and Personal Security apps which we’ll find on Wear OS 3. All of these apps, he says, will likely be released alongside the Pixel Watch.
