Pokémon Sword and Shield, Developer Morale Is Under Shoes

The morale of the developers of Pokémon Sword and Shield is under shoes, according to Austin Walker of the WayPoint Radio podcast.

The morale of the developers of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Game Freak, is under the shoes, at least according to what reported by Austin Walker in the WayPoint Radio podcast, which apparently has direct contact with the studio.

Walker said in the last episode of Waypoint Radio that Game Freak’s morale was never so low. Unfortunately, he did not explain why and did not elaborate on the concept further, although it is not difficult to understand what is happening.

Many historical fans of the Pokémon series have openly lined up against some announcements of Pokémon Sword and Shield, in particular against the decision not to include all the Pokémon in the game. The side is also very criticized for technical and other choices, even if to a lesser extent. Obviously Game Freak is made up of people and seeing the fans turn around in this way will have hit the sensitivity of many, especially after the successes of previous years.

For the rest, we remind you that Pokémon Sword and Shield will be available starting November 15, 2019, for Nintendo Switch.
