Replacing the soaps. 400 thousand. requests

Clean air program was launched in September 2018 and is to be implemented for 10 years. Its goal is to support the replacement of obsolete heating stoves, the so-called for smokers to the more ecological ones, so as to limit the phenomenon of low emissions, which it results in smogas well as support for thermal modernization of single-family houses. The planned budget of the program is over PLN 100 billion.

– The program assumes that the aid will reach approximately 3 million within a decade single-family houseswhich is to lead to a significant reduction of low emissions. We are currently approaching 400,000. applications for subsidies, which means the exchange of over 10 percent. obsolete stoves. Weekly, the Provincial Funds receive over 4,000 applications every year can give 250 thousand. We hope that this number will increase by extending the program with an offer addressed to beneficiaries in a difficult financial situation. We also plan to use the banking path to a greater extent, said Chorowski.

Currently, the Clean Air program distinguishes between future beneficiaries and the amount of subsidies – into two categories. In the first part, it’s the people who annual income does not exceed 100 thousand PLN and for such a group of people a basic subsidy of up to 30,000 is provided. zloty. The second part of the program with an increased level of co-financing is addressed to people with an average monthly salary of up to PLN 1,564 / person in a multi-person household and up to PLN 2,189 in a farm. single. For this group of beneficiaries, a higher subsidy is foreseen – even up to 37,000. zloty.

In the new year, the third component will be launched with the highest level of co-financing of up to 90%. eligible costs – targeted at the poorest people.

The Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa informed that for this group of beneficiaries the maximum non-returnable subsidy would amount to 69,000. zloty. Such assistance will be granted to people whose average monthly income per one household member does not exceed PLN 900 in a multi-person household and PLN 1,260 in a single-person household.

– The program for the poorest will make it possible heat source replacement and carrying out thermal modernization with a minimized own contribution. The new offer will make it possible to reach people who cannot afford such an investment – emphasized the head of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

Chorowski, also asked about the banking component – several banks grant Clean Air loans with a subsidy from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management – informed that from the beginning of this path, i.e. from 6 July 2021, banks had granted about 700 such loans.

– For now, the loan is offered by several banks (Alior Bank, BOŚ Bank, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, Bank BPS and the first 50 cooperative banks of the BPS Association – PAP) and we hope that more institutions will join the program. The more banks there are, the better the conditions for beneficiaries should be and the greater the popularity of loans will be. Thus, the banking path will naturally gain even greater pace – indicated the President of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

The fund is also talking to the two largest Polish banks Pekao SA and PKO BP to join “Clean air”.

According to the president of the Fund, the combination of a furnace replacement with a thermo-modernization investment, with a subsidy from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management – especially now when electricity and gas prices are rising – is becoming more and more profitable for the beneficiary.

– The program assumes a 100 percent return. costs for an energy audit, which indicates the needs of the building in terms of thermo-modernization. It is worth taking this opportunity. A well-insulated building uses much less energy and thus more money stays in household budget. It is energy saving that is the best way to avoid the effects of high prices of energy. Comprehensive thermomodernization will significantly reduce heating costs, which is particularly important given the increase in fuel and energy prices, says Chorowski.

He added that due to the increase gas tariffs In the new year, the National Fund will attach great importance to promoting thermal modernization. – We will try to introduce additional incentives in the program to motivate beneficiaries to perform thermal modernization of the building. We will be working on it in the first quarter of 2022 – announced the head of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
