Ronaldinho is in a legal dispute with his ex-wife, Priscilla Coelho. The woman demands unpaid alimony from the former footballer, which was ordered back in 2005. Ronaldinho was to pay the woman £ 13,000 (about PLN 72,000) a month. The woman’s lawyer told Brazilian newspaper Extra that Ronaldinho had received a subpoena on November 11 so that he could be formally notified of the payment deadline. Earlier, the Brazilian could not be tracked. The media reported in June that Priscilla had accused the former footballer of failing to pay maintenance, but that he remained elusive. So the police took up the matter.

Ronaldinho has to pay off the arrears by December 1. Otherwise, his property may be frozen and he may be returned to prison. Ronaldinho has to pay, if only so that he can appeal later.
Recall that in March last year, Ronaldinho was arrested in Paraguay on suspicion of having a false identity document. The police also detained his brother – Roberto. The Brazilians used Paraguayan passports. The brothers were imprisoned for several months. They were finally released in August.
The Brazilian ended his career in early 2018, although he played his last game five years ago at Brazilian Fluminense. Earlier, Ronaldinho played, among others at PSG, Barcelona and Milan. In 2005, he was awarded the Golden Ball for the best footballer of the year. By many fans, he was considered one of the greatest football artists.
