Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie became friends on the set of the movie ‘Eternals’
The two stars who play the role of the two immortal beings Ajak and Thena in the film are connected by the fact that they are both working mothers and have a similar view of the world.
Salma, who has a 14-year-old daughter, Valentina, along with her husband François-Henri Pinault, confessed: “There is an aspect of a mother who takes good care of her children and a mother who understands that motherhood is like a sect.”
“We have to help each other, we have to talk to each other. It is very important to find other mums who say, ‘We are together. We’ll manage.'”
“Our cooperation was just a pleasure, we have the same interests and we met at a point in our lives when we only want two things: meaning, relationship and friendship that have meaning and joy. We just want joy. ”
Angelina, who has sons Maddox (20), Pax (17), daughters Zahara (16) and Shiloh (15), and 13-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, admitted, that she is often a “difficult” person who has no connections on a movie set, but could not resist Salma’s “kindness”.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said: “Salma is the main character, the healer and mother in this movie. As soon as she entered the room, you could feel her kindness. She cared for everyone, that’s just the way she is. ”
“And such an attitude requires a lot of you. It requires a lot of strength and being an empathetic person. ”
“She saw me, and I don’t make new friends on the set, I can be difficult, unlike the character I play. And she has that warmth in her that tells you, “Everything is going to be okay.” There is a scene in the film that suits us very well and I think it brought us together. ”
The actresses claim that working on the set has resulted in many friendships among the crew.
Angelina said, “Real friendships have been made, and this is very important because this movie is inclusive and very diverse.”
“We are different people who came here with different experiences and we naturally created a family and learned a lot from each other.”
