The success story of this initiative led to the World Tech Makers team having been selected to be part of one of the 100 startups selected for Start-up Chile, recognized as one of the most respected acceleration programs in Latin America.
Start-up Chile lasts seven months and focuses on promoting startups with less than two years but with great potential, as well as helping entrepreneurs adapt to the local culture and consolidate in the country.
According to Ilana Milkes, CEO and co-founder of World Tech Makers, expectations are the best, but the challenge is great. “We are very grateful for the support of Startup Chile for our work, as well as the support of our network of mentors and allies at a local and global level.
We hope to continue innovating in disruptive technological education to close the digital divide both in Colombia and in the region and we hope that our results continue to speak for themselves in the country as well as in Chile and Brazil. “
