‘The Avengers’? Marvel Producer Explains What MCU Phase 4’s Main Theme Is

The first films of marvel studios focused on the heroes’ fight against Thanos’ forces throughout the Infinity Saga, which came to an end in ‘Avengers: Endgame‘.

Already in Phase 4 of the MCU, the focus of the franchise is the Multiverse, which has already been explored in ‘Loki’Spider-Man: No Return Home‘ and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’.

Nonetheless, Richie Palmerof production and development at Marvel, said that the main theme of the new films is the trauma and consequences left by the Infinity Saga.

In an interview with the empirethe filmmaker said that:

“The Infinity Saga was an important episode in our history and its aftermath is still being explored. As much as it has come to an end, it will still be connected with the future of the MCU to some extent. I can say that the main theme of Phase 4 is the trauma caused in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’. We are still feeling those effects years later.”

Palmer’s statement fits very well with the drama experienced by Wanda Maximoff, a character in Elizabeth Olsen.

Enjoy watching:

“I don’t think there’s a character dealing with grief in such disturbing ways as Wanda Maximoff, so she’s been a central figure in Phase Four so far. Her journey has made her a villain at times, while other characters deal with loss in different ways.”he continued.

The filmmaker also cited Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as one of the most tragic characters among the current events of the MCU.

“Peter Parker also fits these traumas. Because he’s at the heart of the question: ‘What happens when you lose everything?’ But he’s dealt with the losses by diving into the Spider-Man persona to take control of who he really is. Being Spider-Man means being the greatest hero of all time in the midst of difficulties.”

While we await more news about the future of the MCU, it is worth remembering that ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ It is already showing in national cinemas.

The film features Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he has ever faced: the quest for self-knowledge. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic assassin known as Gorr the Butcher of the Gods (Christian Bale), which seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of the Valkyrie King (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) who, to Thor’s surprise, inexplicably wields his magic hammer, Mjolnir, being the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the Butcher of the Gods’ revenge and stop him before it’s too late.

As the film will include the participation of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (waititi) Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), nebula (Karen Gillan), Drax (Dave Bautista), mantis (Pom Klementieff), Rocket (voice of Bradley Cooper) and Groot (voice of Vin Diesel), there are several possibilities for this novel.

The cast is also made up of Jaime Alexander (Lady Sif), Jeff Goldblum (Grand Master), Christian Bale (Gorr, the Butcher of the Gods) and Russell Crowe (Zeus).

Melissa McCarthy will play the “fake version” of Hela in the Asgard theater troupe, alongside Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth and Sam Neill.

Michael Giacchino (‘Batman’, ‘Ratatouille’) is responsible for the soundtrack.

Videogames entered his life in the late '80s, at the time of the first meeting with Super Mario Bros, and even today they make it a permanent part, after almost 30 years. Pros and defects: he manages to finish Super Mario Bros in less than 5 minutes but he has never finished Final Fight with a credit ... he's still trying.
