(ANSA) – NEW YORK, DECEMBER 07 – The eight mountains and Immensity are in the line up of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, which returns to attendance for the first time since 2020: the appointment is between 19 and 29 January.
The Eight Mountains by Felix van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch, which won the Jury Prize at Cannes 2022, and The Immensity by Emanuela Crialese, both films produced by the Fremantle group’s Wildside, will be presented in the Spotlight section.
Among the themes of the festival, the war in Ukraine, the conflict in Iran and the dangers of technology. The public, as in previous editions, will be able to have online access to many of the titles scheduled starting January 24th. ’20 Days in Mariupol’, is one of the most awaited titles in the documentary section. Many films and documentaries have stars as protagonists: there is Anne Hathaway in Eileen, Gabriel Garcia Bernal in Cassandro and Daisy Ridley in Sometimes I Think About Dying.
