Europe rewards the best digital talents, ideas and projects created by students who have taken part in the Re-Educo project promoted as part of the Erasmus+ initiatives. There are eleven projects carried out by the seventy children from the four Italian schools that have joined the European contest: the “Borghese Faranda” Institute of Higher Education in Patti (Messina), the “Giorgio Buchner” State High School in Ischia, the Institute of Higher Education “GM Angioy of Carbonia and the T. Gullace Talotta Scientific High School of Rome. The competition follows a training course carried out in the classroom by the students, who were accompanied with tutoring sessions and webinars managed by experts in the sector of startup training and business development. Formats and design materials and methodologies for defining business ideas were also provided. Students and teachers translated and developed their own opinions into an entrepreneurial idea in the field of digital applications in the fields of the cultural and artistic sector; health and wellness, smart city.
The first phase of the contest ended at the end of June with the announcement of two winning groups, who will enter the international contest scheduled for September. Representing Italy for GROUP 1 will be the Buchner High School of Ischia, ScAvengers of the sea, Category: Smart Cities. The students contributed to the project: Buonocore Mirea, Di meglio Lucia, Ferrandino Adriano, Formisano Myriam, Sasso Giorgia and the teacher: Raffaele Campanile. For GROUP 2- Parking Help – the Institute: ITCG Angioy di Carbonia – Category: Smart Cities. The work of the students was awarded: Melissa Uccheddu, Mia Sassi, Mattia Masala, Elena Masala, Gabriele Fara and the teacher Cristiana Pivetta.
