The money supply in October increased by PLN 21.5 billion

“At the end of October 2021, the value of M3 money supply amounted to PLN 1 trillion 935.7 billion and was PLN 21.5 billion higher than at the end of September 2021.” – wrote in a statement from the central bank.

It added that in October 2021 the value of deposits and other liabilities in the household sector included in the M3 money supply increased by PLN 7.4 billion, i.e. by 0.7 per cent, to PLN 1 trillion 16.9 billion, in the household sector non-financial enterprises by PLN 7.4 billion, i.e. 1.9%, to the level of PLN 406.3 billion, and in the sector of other financial institutions by PLN 2.9 billion, i.e. 4.8%, to 62.8% PLN billion.

As informed by the National Bank of Poland, the state of deposits and other liabilities in the local government institutions sector increased by PLN 0.2 billion, i.e. by 0.3%, to the level of PLN 65.4 billion.

In turn, the debt of non-financial enterprises increased by PLN 8.0 billion, i.e. 2.1%, to the level of PLN 381.2 billion, and the debt of households by PLN 5.5 billion, i.e. 0.7%, to 825 PLN, 7 billion. The net debt of the central government sector increased by PLN 7.3 billion, i.e. 2.3%, to PLN 319.0 billion.
