Just over a month after the release of the highly anticipated Babylonby Damien Chazelle, in which he will star, Margot Robbie revealed an extremely interesting aspect of his character: insecurity.
In fact, the splendid actress does not feel trivially “arrived” and constantly needs to improve and try her hand at increasingly more ambitious. He entrusted to the well-known Hollywood Reporters the thought that she only felt professionally fulfilled after getting the role in Tonya (for which she was also nominated for an Oscar as Best Leading Actress).
The words of Margot Robbie
With Tonya for the first time I saw my film and I thought: ‘Ok, I’m a good actress’. I went to the cinema on a random Tuesday afternoon and sat in pretty much the same seat. I had more or less the same experience as Sharon, even when buying the ticket the person on the other side said to me: ‘But you’re in the film’ and I replied ‘I know’.
In fact, before taking note of her growing abilities, Margot revealed that she would not have been able to approach directors like Quentin Tarantino and to ambitious roles such as the one in which he gave face and soul to Sharon Tate.
Margot Robbie’s admirable work ethic drives her to a hyper criticism which is a fundamental part of his safety and personal growth. Many of her colleagues should take an example from her. And it is important to take note of the fact that, once again, reality shows itself extremely distant from appearance and gives us the image of a more human and simple celebrity. Well done Margot!
