David O. Russelldirector of cult films such as The Fighter, Bright side And American Hustle, writes and directs a drama which, through a thriller narration, reflects on American society between the two world conflicts and on the great powers that at that time, behind the scenes, tried to maintain control of the socio-political world to satisfy their own interests. Apart from this, Amsterdam is also a story of friendship and courage, in which the three protagonists (played by Christian Bale, John David Washington and Margot Robbie) encounter a gallery of bizarre and disturbing characters played by an all-star cast that includes Robert De Niro, Anya Taylor-Joy, Rami Malek, Taylor Swift, Mike Myers and Zoe Saldana. Amsterdam is available on Blu-ray and DVD: on the High Definition disc we find the Italian 7.1 Dolby Digital Plus and English DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 audio tracks, while on the DVD both are encoded in Dolby Digital 5.1. Italian subtitles are available on both discs. Only on the Blu-ray is there behind the scenes Welcome to Amsterdam.
