The Marvels: Marvel Studios are shooting some scenes of the Captain Marvel sequel in New York, here are the photos from the set.
The July 28, 2023 the sequel to Captain Marvelthe cinecomic starring the Oscar winner Brie Larson. The film, entitled The Marvels and directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman), he will see Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) e Kamala Khan alias Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) alongside Carol Danvers and will link to the events of the series Secret Invasion.
The user @moonvaIkyrie shared some photos taken at Battery Park which confirm that i Marvel Studios they are shooting some sequences of The Marvels to New York. Although the context of the scene is not clear, it seems that at some point in the film we will see the Statue of Liberty against the backdrop of the city of New York:

The Cosmic Circus confirmed these details, adding that at least one adult cat was on the set for filming. This would confirm the return of Goosethe Flerken with the likeness of a cat introduced in Captain Marvel (2019).
In addition, the site revealed that there were fans on the set who simulated the arrival of a kind of spaceship, which of course will be added in post-production. Finally, some crew members were spotted in the vicinity of a bronze statue called Ape and Cat (At the Dance) of the artist Jim Dunewhich could indicate that a sequence of the film will be set in this area.
