The shooting of “Armageddon Time”, a new film by the creator of “Ad Astra”, has finished

Work on the set of the latest film directed by James Gray (“Ad Astra”, “Kings of the Night”) officially come to an end. The upcoming project of the American artist is entitled “Armageddon Time“. The shooting ended yesterday, i.e. November 30 in New York. The start of work on the set took place exactly October 11 this year.

The movie is referred to as biographical story about growing up in Queens in New York in mid 1980s. “Armageddon Time“Is based on the director’s personal experienceswho was a student of v Kew-Forest School in Queensattended, among others, by the former president of the United States Donald Trumpand his father Fred Trump he sat on the school board. Both men have appear in the story.

They are in the main roles of production Anne Hathaway (“The Devil Wears Prada”), Anthony Hopkins (“Father”), Jeremy Strong (“Succession”) and Michael Banks Repeta (“The Devil Incarnate”). The cast also includes Jaylin Webb (“The Wonder Years”), Eva Jette Putrello (“Mr. Robot”) and Ryan Sell (“House of Cards”).

They were previously connected with the project Cate Blanchett, Robert De Niro, Oscar Isaac and Donald Sutherland. Apart from Gray they deal with the production Anthony Katagas, Marc Butan and Rodrigo Teixeira. The executive producers are Lourenço Sant’Anna and Rodrigo Gutierrez. The movie will be distributed in the United States by Focus Featuresand in other countries by Universal Pictures.
