The solidarity dinner for autistic children is back – Il Golfo 24

After the extraordinary success of participants obtained last year, a solidarity and fundraising dinner organized by the Ischia Autism Parents Association will also be held this year at the welcoming Hotel Park Terme Michelangelo in Lacco Ameno. The appointment is for Sunday 23 October starting at 19.30.

Dr. Carmela Esposito, Head of the Ischia Autism Parents Association

In addition to the fish-based dinner during which appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, desserts and ice cream will be served, adults will have the opportunity to participate in the dancing evening which will be enlivened by the music and voice of the popular island singers Emanuela Elia and Giovanni Apetino, while the children can take advantage of the playroom and entertainment. In short, fun and entertainment for all ages. The participation fee for adults is 60.00 euros, while for children it is 25.00 euros. For information and reservations, you can call 081.995134 or 3336022279. As explained by Dr. Carmela Esposito, Head of the “Ischia Autism Association”, thanks to the proceeds from last year’s solidarity dinner, there were so many initiatives which during 2022 autistic children and young people on the island were able to take advantage of.

The Michelangelo Hotel

“October 23 – declared Dr. Carmela Esposito – we have the second appointment with the solidarity dinner. Last year this event was very successful and it allowed us to carry out really important initiatives. First of all the opening of our office which welcomes children with autism from the age of three. The opening, thanks also to the municipality of Forio, of the ‘families together’ space. A playful recreational space for summer activities which, among other things, has brought together many island realities such as cooperatives, playrooms and associations in order to guarantee more and more inclusive opportunities and the special schools project, a project financed by the association and the Campania region which it will guarantee an advanced training course for all teachers on the island and which will therefore bring benefits not only to our children, but also to children with frailties throughout the island. So the appointment with the solidarity dinner on Sunday 23 October is definitely not to be missed. The support of the island community is essential not only to allow us to give continuity to the activities and services already active which without the help of the association would have unaffordable costs, but to always structure new opportunities for the benefit not only of our children but of the whole territory”.
