sony has released the first image of The Sonthe next highly anticipated film by Florian Zeller with Vanessa Kirby, Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern. Also in the cast Zen McGrath and Anthony Hopkins.

The Son is the film adaptation of the play of the same name written by Zeller with Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons). In 2021, Florian Zeller and hamptons they won theOscars for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Father – Nothing is as it seems (2020), with Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman.

A drama that follows a family falling apart and trying to get back together. A couple of years after his parents’ divorce, 17-year-old Nicholas no longer feels he can be with his mother, Kate (Laura Dern). So he moved in with his father Peter (Hugh Jackman) and Peter’s new partner, Beth (Vanessa Kirby). Trying to juggle Beth’s new baby and her dream job in Washington DC, Peter tries to take care of Nicholas the way he wants. But, trying to right the wrongs of the past, Peter loses sight of how to keep the Nicholas in the present.
