Produced by Danny Boyle, it tells the most famous punk band in history based on the memoir written by Steve Jones, Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol (released in 2017).
The show was created and written by Craig Pearce (who is also executive producer along with Danny Boyle, Tracey Seaward, Gail Lyon, Anita Camarata, Steve Jones, Paul Lee and Hope Hartman). The series Pistol, produced by FX Productions, consists of six episodes. It is therefore a mini-series that, despite the “mignon” format, will tell in depth the musical revolution and not only that: the Sex Pistols, in fact, are the Knights of an Apocalypse of costume and society, as well as having also set fire to the world of the seven notes with their disruptive punk.
