The University of León distributes copies of ‘Union en positivo’ throughout the province

The University of Lyon (ULE) has launched the seventh issue of the magazine ‘Union en Positivo’, in digital and paper format. With a circulation of 1,000 copies, the publication is distributed to libraries, faculties, academic centers as well as various points of interest in the province, such as schools, public bodies and associations. The cover highlights the journey of Pablo Álvarez Fernández and Sara García Alonso, two graduates selected as astronauts by the European Space Agency (ESA). In the interior, the defense of public education and the possibility of obtaining excellent training in cities such as Ponferrada are highlighted.
In an editorial, Rector Juan Francisco García Marín highlights the success of these youths as proof that the sector offers opportunities to those who are committed to quality education and caring for young talents. Furthermore, he mentions ULE’s efforts to expand its educational offer and meet the needs of society.
The magazine also dedicates a comprehensive report to the ‘Ralbar Program’, which addresses the importance of promoting talent in rural environments to combat the population in the province of León. Likewise, various degrees and sections are presented that cover topics of interest, such as the impact of climate change on plant ecosystems, the ULE Publishing Service and an interview with Paulino Pardo, state ecclesiastical law and community ombudsman.
