This is already confirmed information! More jumps on TVP

Fans of ski jumping on TVP Sport will receive a small compensation in the absence of broadcasts from the World Cup competitions. Instead, they will see the Continental Cup competitions next weekend, December 10-12.

TVP lost broadcasts from the Ski Jumping World Cup to TVN. “Public” were broadcasts from competitions in Wisła, Zakopane, competitions on Olympic ski jumps and the world championships in ski flying.

Marek Szkolnikowski, head of TVP Sport, calls this situation a temporary whim. In social media he wrote that “Polish Television was, is and will be the home of ski jumping.”

In this situation, it is not surprising that the TVP Sport authorities are doing what they can to fill the gap in the program.

And for this occasion a little surprise was prepared. On December 10-12, TVP Sport will be able to follow the broadcasts of the Continental Cup competition in ski jumping, which will be held in Vikersund, Norway.

There are four competition broadcasts on schedule – two men (Friday, Saturday) and two women (Saturday, Sunday). They will take place on the hill with construction point K117.

Let us remind you that the Continental Cup is a competition in which players who do not fit in their national team for the World Cup take part. It is therefore an excellent overview of the so-called back office.

The schedule of the Continental Cup competitions in Vikersund:

1st men’s competition, Friday, December 10 (17:00)
2nd men’s competition, Saturday 11 December (11:00)
1st women’s competition, Saturday 11 December (18:00)
2nd women’s competition, Sunday 12 December (10:45 am)
