Today with Bergomix the party for the arrival of “Doctor Strange”

Saturday 7 May

The new film starring Doctor Strange is the occasion for a cinematic appointment organized by the cultural association Bergomix.

It will be held on Saturday 7 May afternoon, from 3 to 7 pm, at the Multisala Uci Cinemas Curno, in via Lega Lombarda, in conjunction with the first weekend of programming of “Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness”, the awaited Marvel Studios film, centered on on the comic book character of the same name, protector of the Earth against threats of a magical and mystical nature.

The initiative will allow you to admire an exhibition of comic relics and memorabilia from the vast private collection of the Bergomix cultural association, including original illustrations signed by important comic authors, including those by Alberto Locatelli from Bergamo.. The program also provides the opportunity to take photographs with the cosplayers who will give life to the characters of the Marvel Multiverse (Mauro Marinelli, Paola D’Andrea, Lella Villa, Luca Curcetti will respectively play Doctor Strange, Captain Carter, Scarlet Witch, Loki); attend a live drawing session with the artist and superhero comic artist Federica Marchetti, who will create drawings with a dedication at the request of the public, and receive an exclusive comic as a gift (while stocks last).

The event will take place according to the health and hygiene regulations in force, inside the atrium of the multiplex with the obligation to wear an Ffp2 mask. Anyone can participate, regardless of the purchase of the ticket to watch the film (for the purchase of tickets, instead, consult the website www.ucicinemas.it).

The cast of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” includes, among others, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams. If a veteran of fantasy like Sam Raimi brings the Marvel character created by Stan Lee back to the screen and immerses him in a colorful version of the “metaverse” that is so much talked about today, it is not just a game for large audiences of adolescents.

The director does not violate any of the spectacular precepts dictated by the production with Strange, his loyal Wong and the beautiful Wanda grappling with a mysterious enemy who hides behind the elusive personalities of another dimension; however, he adds an original touch that makes us reflect on the dangers and suggestions of the parallel reality that today attracts us so much.
