Toy Story: an acting version with Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson?
Over the past few years Disney succeeded by producing new versions of their most popular animated films. The acting versions have been released, among others, such productions as “The Lion King”, “Aladdin”, “Dumbo” or “Beauty and the Beast”. Will it hit the big screen soon remake Toy Story?
Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson starred in the latest movie The Walt Disney Company – a family adventure game called “Expedition to the Jungle”. In connection with the upcoming premiere of the film the stars gave a series of interviews. In an interview with Cinemablend were asked if they would like to star in the acting version of Toy Story. All because the idea for “Expedition to the jungle” arose many years ago and originally were seen in the main roles Tom Hanks and Tim Allen – the stars of the original language version of the film Pixar studios.
For this reason, the author of the interview Dirk Libbey thought he would ask Blunt and Johnson, what they think of the new “Toy Story” starring them. The journalist also asked which of the heroes they would like to play.
Emily Blunt: I am Buzz. He is Skinny.
Dwayne Johnson: Really? This is? Why?
Emily Blunt: Because you’re a bit lanky.
Dwayne Johnson: Oh, ok. And you’re Buzz because you’re just cool?
Emily Blunt: He is cool, strong and tough. And it has rockets. And you’re like, “Hey, I’m a cowboy.”
So the idea for an acting version of “Toy Story” is a joke, but given the list planned Disney acting remakes, it is possible that we will actually see it someday Skinny and Buzz in human scenes.
