Transfers. Yaw Yeboah leaves Wisła Kraków. He will play in MLS. PKO Ekstraklasa

24-year-old Yeboah came to Wisła in the summer of 2020 on a free transfer basis. Previously, he played in Spanish clubs: Celta Vigo B, CD Numancia and Real Oviedo. He was also a player of the French Lille and Manchester City.

He played 50 official matches for Wisła, scoring 10 goals. In the current season, with six goals (five in the league and one in the Polish Cup), he was the most effective player of the Krakow team.

The new Ghanaian midfielder club is the ninth Eastern Conference team from last MLS season.

– Yaw is a perfect example of transfers that a club like Wisła should do. He is a player found by Scouting, won thanks to the strong determination of the board. In 18 months he gave us a lot on the pitch, he showed himself and promoted us. His transfer to Columbus Crew is the highest transfer of Wisła in four years, in addition, we managed to guarantee the percentage we expected on the next transfer, which in the case of his age should provide the club with additional benefits in the future – said Tomasz Pasieczny, sports director of Wisła, quoted by the official website club website.

Yeboah is the second player to leave Wisła during the winter break in the competition. Earlier, goalkeeper Michał Buchalik terminated the contract and joined Lechia Gdańsk. The Krakow club was joined by the Swedish left-back Sebastian Ring from Kalmer FF.
