Trump, the private plane forced to make an emergency landing in New Orleans due to an engine failure –

The former president was headed to his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach

The private plane carrying the former American president Donald Trump forced to make an emergency landing due to an engine failure. The accident allegedly took place last Saturday but Politico is only now giving the news. The former president had taken off from New Orleans where he had met some Republican party backers in a private event and was headed to his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, Florida. While flying over the Gulf of Mexico, after traveling approximately 75 miles, an engine failure forced the pilot to reverse course and return to New Orleans.

The jet in which Trump was traveling, a Dassault Falcon 900, carried in addition to the former president, intelligence agents and other personnel. Trump’s spokesperson declined to comment on the event.

According to some reconstructions, it would be a Falcon owned by a donor from the Republican party who made it available to the former US president for the evening. The men of the staff immediately activated to find another flight but the former president managed to arrive home in Palm Beach only the following morning.
