Ukraine, Trump: “Putin is smart, our leaders are stupid” – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 26 – Vladimir Putin has decided on his “ruthless invasion” after seeing the withdrawal from Afghanistan: “Putin is smart”, intelligent, and “our leaders are stupid”.

Donald Trump said this, speaking at the conference of US conservatives and calling Russia’s attack on Ukraine an assault on humanity.

“It would have been easy for me to put an end to what is happening, to this farce,” adds Trump, speaking of his “affinity” with Putin. “Russia is decimating Ukraine. A great war in Europe could begin. The attack by Russia is an atrocity, it’s frightening. Let’s pray for the Ukrainians,” says the former American president.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is a “brave man”, says Trump, dwelling on the phone call with Zelensky at the center of his first impeachment. (HANDLE).
