video compares physics and details of the launch version with 1.6 – Nerd4.life

The GameBest YouTube channel has posted an interesting one video from Cyberpunk 2077 in which some are compared details and physics between the launch version and version 1.6, which is the most recent. The result is really interesting and shows the progress made by the game in all this time.

We start with the effects weapons on the water, which in the original either did not produce any feedback (bullets) or created real graphic glitches (explosions), while in version 1.6 they produce splashes of water of different intensity and much more realistic. We then move on to the behavior of the citizens of Night City in front of weapons, absurd at launch, much more realistic now, among those trying to escape and others who hit V with the car having him within range.

Then it shows what happened and what happens when shooting car windows, then how the effects of the fire have changed, how NPCs react to shots, how the fire hydrants have been revised, how the swimming has been modified and more, up to the point. the effects of accidents, the fire on the tires of the cars and the explosions of the same.

It seems to be almost faced with a comparison between an alpha version and a final one, which once again hints at how rushed the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was. Fortunately for CD Projekt Red the game is finding a second commercial life thanks to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and, why not, also thanks to the support work of the development team.
