THE RESULTS OF THE THIRD ROUND
The clashes of the first leg did not leave any country with too great an advantage. All the matches ended in a tie or were defined by the minimum difference.
● DR Congo 1 – Morocco 1
The Argentine team Hector Cuper started winning against Morocco. He struck the first blow 12 minutes into the first half, with a goal from Yoane Wissa. They had chances to extend the advantage, but they did not take advantage of them, and the visit ended up equalizing via Tarik Tissoudali. At the end, the locals finished with 10 for the red to Ngonda Muzinga. The series is defined in Morocco.
● Mali 0 – Tunisia 1
Mali suffered a local accident and was complicated for the return. Moussa Sissako was the main target: the defender scored a goal against (he threw a dead ball at his goalkeeper) and to top it off he was sent off four minutes later. A day to forget. His chance for Qatar will be decided on Tuesday in Tunisia.
● Cameroon 0 – Algeria 1
The Lions could not at home and fell to Algeria. Islam Slimani had a brilliant header in the 40th minute of the first half and left his team with a great advantage for the return leg, which they will play at home.

● Ghana 0 – Nigeria 0
Ghana and Nigeria did not draw differences. In a game with few shots on goal and few moments of emotion. After the 0-0, everything remains to be seen for the second leg. A color fact? The Green Eagles qualified for the last three World Cups, and in five of their six appearances they were with Argentina in the group stage.
● Egypt 1 – Senegal 0
In the highlight of the African Qualifiers, the two finalists of the last Africa Cup met. Two teams that have several cracks of the world elite, among which stand out Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane, colleagues in Liverpool. And unlike what happened in the continental tournament, this time the arm wrestling went to the pharaoh, who won 1-0 by a goal against after four minutes of play. The return is played in Senegal.
