Devis EPASSY 5 – Onana’s exclusion sends him onto the pitch at the last second, he makes him regret it. He could have done something more in the first two goals. Late.
Collins FAI 5.5 – On his side, a difficult customer like Kostić squeals, he defends himself as best he can.
Jean-Charles CASTELLETTO 6 – Not always faultless in marking, to put it mildly. He has the merit of unlocking the race with opportunism.
Nicolas N’KOULOU 5.5 – In the defensive phase, the speech is similar to that of the team mate. Few frills, but also little security transmitted to him and great difficulties in one-on-one. Half a vote more for the splash that leads to Castelletto’s goal.
Nouhou TOLO 5 – Little barrier to Serbian attacks from the right, he also finds himself out of position in more than one situation.
Martin HONGLA 4.5 – Loses the ball under pressure from Tadić and Serbia scores 3-1. The last photograph of his match, in which he combines very little (from the 55th minute Vincent ABOUBAKAR 8 – The player who changes the game. He immediately puts the Serbian defense in apprehension and hits with a big lob, then also places the assist for Choupo).
Pierre KUNDE 5.5 – The best of the Cameroonian midfielders, even if it’s not that simple to hold a direct technical and physical confrontation with Milinković (from the 67th minute Gaël ONDOUA 6 – Good impact, fits without problems on the wave of enthusiasm of his comeback).
Andre ZAMBO ANGUISSA 4.5 – He is responsible for Serbia’s first two goals: first he gets overtaken by Pavlović, then he loses a bad ball which SMS converts into the net. But is he really the same indispensable player we saw with the Napoli shirt? (since 81′ Samuel OU GOUET SV).
Bryan MBEUMO 6 – He has the personality to aim for the Serbian defence, grows in the second half and communicates well with Choupo-Moting (from 81′ Georges-Kévin N’KOUDOU SV).
Eric Maxim CHOUPO-MOTING 6.5 – In the first half he stands out for some bucking and little else, in the second half he is a factor in the comeback of the Lions, which he seals with an easy but decisive goal.
Karl TOKO EKAMBI 5.5 – The least penetrating of Song’s titular trident, the physicality of the Serbian defense suffers (from 67 ‘ Christian BASSOGOG 6 – Good entry for him too, when Cameroon leaves again he replies present).
Herd Rigobert SONG 6 – The inclusion of Aboubakar was a must and perhaps he should have fielded him as a starter. “Choice” late which still brings him enough.
Serbian report cards
Vanja MILINKOVIĆ-SAVIĆ 5.5 – Three goals taken (some responsibility on the second outgoing) and a couple of reckless outings.
Nikola MILENKOVIĆ 4.5 – Decisive in the negative. He missed the offside line twice and Cameroon equalised. Even in the first half he had been guilty of timing, but he hadn’t been punished. Hard game.
Miloš VELIKOVIĆ 4.5 – Not even he is blameless for the goals conceded, including that of Castelletto (from the 79th minute Srđan BABIĆ SV).
Strahinja PAVLOVIĆ 6,5 – Imperious detachment to put Serbia back on track. The only one of the three central defenders to play a great match also in reading and marking (from 56′ Stefan MITROVIĆ 5 – Choupo-Moting is immediately lost, then he too is shipwrecked with the Serbian defence).
Andrija ZIVKOVIĆ 6.5 – The corner that leads to Cameroon’s goal was born from one of his lopsided passes, he redeemed himself by triggering Milinković and with an assist for Mitrović (from 78′ Nemanija RADONIJĆ SV).
Sasa LUKIĆ 6 – Ordered match, without particular rings or gross errors.
Nemanja MAKSIMOVIĆ 5.5 – He tends not to overdo it and for a while it’s okay, then it drops a lot.
Filip KOSTIĆ 6.5 – Good understanding with Tadic, thorn in Cameroon’s right side. Exits exhausted (from 90+2′ Filip ĐURIČIĆ SV).
Dušan TADIĆ 6.5 – Director of the team, beacon of the attack and inspirer of the maneuver. An assist and the ball recovered on 3-1.
Sergej MILINKOVIĆ-SAVIĆ 6,5 – Shy and not a protagonist for (almost) a time, then he strikes and exalts himself. Replaced and it is not clear why (since 79′ Marko GRUIJĆ SV).
Aleksandar MITROVIĆ 6 – A sensational post and a goal (easy, easy), but he has at least three other colossal chances on his feet and doesn’t materialize them. Little cynical.
Herd Dragan STOJKOVIĆ 4.5 – The substitutions of Pavlović and Milinković-Savić are difficult to explain, his Serbia would be superior but play around and are punished.
