Xbox will be “constantly pushing the boundaries.” Phil Spencer is already planning innovations for the next 5-10 years

Microsoft has not disappointed its customers recently, and the American corporation does not intend to slow down. Phil Spencer confirmed that the company has already started developing and investing in further projects that will allow players to constantly experience innovation.

Microsoft cannot talk about many successes on the previous generation, but it was during the Xbox One that the corporation started the “Horizon” project. These are various plans for the development of the Xbox brand, initiated by Phil Spencer.

During the last conversation with Major Nelson, the head of the brand confirmed that the company had already started working on “Horizon 3” a few years ago, ie projects that players will not experience until 5-10 years.

Microsoft is developing the Xbox on three tracks: Horizon 1 is the near future (apparently, for example, games purchased for Xbox Game Pass), Horizon 2 is projects in 2-3 years (for example, new productions) and Horizon 3.

There were Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Game Pass in Horizon 3 because they’re big and long-term projects, but Microsoft is not slowing down and is already preparing proposals of a similar caliber – fans, however, will not experience them until 5-10 years.

Phil Spencer stressed that the company has to “constantly push the boundaries” because “players will always demand more”. It is for this reason that the corporation cannot stop and invest in new solutions.
