Gigi, Bella, Vittoria, Emily… and Paris! “The Church of Versace”, for spring-summer 2023, begins at a decisive pace with the most iconic models parading to the rhythm of techno. The first total black outfits, almost submissive, are followed by studs, black leather looks and massive belts that unleash the rock charge of Versace. The trousers, with a very low waist as in the 2000s, are strictly skinny. Everything is full of details: fringes on nails, glitter, lace on evening dresses. The jewels decorate with a punk touch and embellish dresses with deep, draped necklines. Colors arrive, from yellow to fuchsia, up to purple. Versace combines the girly proposals with chunky sandals and boots, following the trend of the moment.
Glossy look for Chiara Ferragni, who attends the show with a latex catsuit, pump décolleté and leather blazer. Fedez opts for black, with baggy trousers, jacket and patent leather combat boots. Latex leggings for Anna Dello Russo, combined with a coral red corset mini-dress, while Vanessa Hudgens chooses a set with a checked pattern, over a glittery top. Camila Morrone opts for a transparent corset, Gilda Ambrosio continues in her choice of maxi jackets over mini outfits, combining pumps with socks. Bianca Balti chooses a floral dress paired with pink pumps, while Marco Mengoni amazes with a vertical striped suit, over a pink lace tank top.
Versace’s church ends with a reference to wedding dresses, which translate the “bridal” trend of the latest fashion shows into a sexy and provocative key. Vittoria, Bella parade with babydoll and veils in coordinated shades, stockings and décolleté. The dresses stretch into a train, revealing the legs. And if the show began with Gigi, it could only end with Paris Hilton! The heiress walks off in a shocking pink look, from the glittery dress to the pumps, to the veil and gloves – which she is hopelessly in love with! Versace leaves everyone enchanted with a tremendously sexy show, which releases provocation from every look.
