Watch the Great Trailer for ‘Inside Out 2’, from Pixar: New Emotions Arrive

Inside Out 2 is going to be the new Pixar movie. The Disney-owned company has had some not-so-good years since the coronavirus pandemic. For this reason, they have decided to bring out the heavy artillery. The legendary animation studio is going to rely on one of its most beloved films to take flight again. And, furthermore, they have found the perfect way to be able to carry it out in a natural and organic way within the story.

Del Revés premiered in 2015. What followed from that moment was history. The film became the highest-grossing original film in Pixar’s history and the company’s fifth overall. The critical and public reception was colossal. And even today, a decade later, it is considered by many to be the studio’s best film along with others like Up, Toy Story, or Wall-E. This 2024 sequel finally arrives, which has already released its new trailer.

The plot of Inside Out 2 (Inside Out 2) will focus on the same human protagonist, Riley Andersen. But now she is no longer a girl. Time has passed and she is in full adolescence. It is a very complex stage of life, in which the person experiences numerous physical, mental and emotional changes. Therefore, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear will receive a visit.

Riley has developed new emotions inside her. And between all of them they must balance their host so that she can continue with her life. Being able to see these emotions had become the great attraction of the new trailer for Inside Out 2 . Until now, we had only seen Ansiedad, that very nervous little orange lady. And in this preview, the name and appearance of the rest has finally been revealed. The new characters are Envy, Ennui (Boredom) and Shame.

The Emotions of Inside Out 2 (Inside Out 2)

Along with the trailer for Inside Out 2, Disney has issued a press release in which it gives new details about its newly added emotions. Anxiety will be played by Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke. Her arrival will turn the headquarters upside down, since she is a bundle of overflowing energy who is dedicated to testing Riley in negative situations. 

Envy will be voiced by Ayo Edebiri, the award-winning actress of The Bear. Although she is not very big, she knows perfectly what she wants. She is always jealous of everything others have and she is not afraid to show it. Ennui will be played by  Adèle Exarchopoulus, renowned for The Life of Adèle. Everything doesn’t matter to this emotion. Bored, apathetic, and with a deft eye roll, Ennui adds the perfect dose of teenage reluctance to Riley‘s personality. 

Lastly is  Shame, voiced by  I, Tonya actor Paul Walter Hauser. This giant likes to go unnoticed, which is not easy at all considering his tremendous corpulence and his glowing pink complexion. All these emotions will debut in Del Revés 2 (Inside Out 2), which opens in theaters on June 19.
