Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin Get Engaged after Six Years of Relationship

Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin and “50 Shades of Grey ” star Dakota Johnson took a step forward in their relationship after six years together, as the famous man proposed to the actress some time ago, according to “The Mirror” reported.
“They are in no rush to plan the wedding, they are just enjoying making their engagement official,” a source told the outlet. Likewise, she explained that they have been in love since they started dating in 2017, so a more promising future for the two was foreseeable.
Martin’s important decision would also be supported by Gwyneth Paltrow, his ex-partner, who throughout the famous relationship has described the protagonist of “Madame Web” as a “good friend.”
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that Martin and Johnson have faced speculation about a marriage commitment. Three years ago, she was spotted wearing an emerald ring on her left ring finger, raising questions.
Although they both try very hard to keep their love affairs private, there are times when Dakota often shares some details, and most recently, she talked about her role as a stepmother to Apple and Moses, the fruit of the love between Martin and Gwyneth.
“I love those kids like my life depended on it. With all my heart,” the artist told “Bustle.”
Regarding how he gets along with Gwyneth, he confessed that he sees her as part of his family, and in general all of them are equally important, if not more, than his blood family.

Dakota was constantly seen at the concerts that Martin offered around the world, among the places she visited were Madrid, Argentina, Sao Paulo, among others. Regarding this, she explained that seeing him on stage is something that she really enjoys.
“I love watching it. I could watch it every day. I don’t know how to explain it. I feel like, I don’t know… I’m watching my favorite person do their favorite thing,” she says.
